| LOCATION | Midway between Dazhui (GV14) and the acromion, at the highest point of the shoulder. |

| INDICATIONS | Stiffness of the neck, pain of the shoulder and back, mastitis, insufficient lactation, difficult labour. |
| ACTIONS | Dispels wind, resolves phlegm, frees the channel, promotes labour. |
| NEEDLING | Perpendicular insertion 0.3 to 0.5 cun. Do not needle deeply, to avoid the lung apex. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 3 to 5 cones. |
| CAUTION | Contraindicated in pregnancy. |
