POINT SELECTION
RATIONALE
CV12 is the front-mu point of the stomach and the meeting of the fu; ST36 is its lower he-sea point; PC6 harmonises the stomach and stops nausea; BL20 and BL23 strengthen the spleen and kidney so that the cold does not recur. Moxibustion supplies the warmth that the deficient middle cannot generate itself.
