Moxibustion at ST36, CV4, CV6, GV14 and BL17 for 15 minutes each, in courses timed between chemotherapy cycles. Treatment is coordinated with the oncology team.
Leucopenia after Chemotherapy
Tonify qi and blood, raise the white count and support the constitution. For reduced white cells and fatigue after chemotherapy.
POINT SELECTION
RATIONALE
ST36 and CV6 tonify qi; CV4 tonifies original qi; GV14, the meeting of all yang channels, is used to raise yang and support the marrow; BL17 is the influential point of blood. Moxibustion is chosen over needling because these patients are often thrombocytopenic and because the aim is sustained tonification. This is adjunctive care and does not replace oncological treatment.
