| INDICATIONS | Collapse, shock, loss of consciousness, epilepsy, mania, facial oedema, acute lumbar sprain. |
| ACTIONS | Restores consciousness, clears heat, calms the spirit, benefits the lumbar region. |
| NEEDLING | Oblique insertion upwards 0.3 to 0.5 cun. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 1 to 3 cones, or no moxibustion in acute collapse. |
