| LOCATION | With the arm abducted, in the anterior of the two depressions at the anterior and posterior aspects of the acromion. |

| INDICATIONS | Pain and weakness of the shoulder and upper arm, hemiplegia, urticaria, motor impairment of the shoulder. |
| ACTIONS | Dispels wind-damp, benefits the shoulder joint, invigorates the channel. |
| NEEDLING | Perpendicular or oblique insertion 0.8 to 1.5 cun. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 3 to 7 cones; mild-warm moxibustion 15 to 20 minutes. |
