| LOCATION | On the radial side of the thumb, 0.1 cun proximal to the corner of the nail. |

| INDICATIONS | Sore throat, acute tonsillitis, cough, fever, loss of consciousness, mania. |
| ACTIONS | Clears lung heat, benefits the throat, restores consciousness. |
| NEEDLING | Perpendicular insertion 0.1 cun, or prick with a three-edged needle to let a few drops of blood. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 1 to 3 cones. |
