| LOCATION | With the mouth open, in the depression between the tragus and the condyle of the mandible. |

| INDICATIONS | Tinnitus, deafness, otitis media, toothache, facial pain, motor impairment of the jaw. |
| ACTIONS | Opens the ear, frees the channel, clears heat. |
| NEEDLING | Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun with the mouth open. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 1 to 3 cones. |
