LOCATION 1.5 cun above the wrist crease on the radial side, in the groove between the tendon of brachioradialis and the styloid process of the radius.
INDICATIONS Headache, stiffness of the neck, cough, asthma, sore throat, facial paralysis, weakness of the wrist.
ACTIONS Releases the exterior, promotes the descending of lung qi, opens the Conception Vessel.
NEEDLING Oblique insertion upward 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
MOXIBUSTION Moxa cone 3 to 5 cones; mild-warm moxibustion 5 to 10 minutes.
