| INDICATIONS | Sore throat, toothache, tinnitus, deafness, cough, asthma, irregular menstruation, insomnia, lumbago, heat in the soles. |
| ACTIONS | Tonifies the kidney, nourishes yin, clears deficiency heat, strengthens the lower back. |
| NEEDLING | Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 3 to 5 cones; mild-warm moxibustion 10 to 15 minutes. |
