Wàiguān

LOCATION 2 cun above the dorsal wrist crease, between the radius and the ulna.
INDICATIONS Fever, headache, deafness, tinnitus, pain of the hypochondrium, pain of the hand and arm, arthritis.
ACTIONS Releases the exterior, clears heat, frees the channel, opens the Yang Linking Vessel.
NEEDLING Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
MOXIBUSTION Moxa cone 3 to 5 cones.
