Bǎihuì
| LOCATION | On the midline of the head, 5 cun above the anterior hairline, at the midpoint of the line joining the apices of the two ears. |

| INDICATIONS | Headache, dizziness, stroke, loss of consciousness, poor memory, insomnia, prolapse of the rectum or uterus, haemorrhoids. |
| ACTIONS | Calms the spirit, restores consciousness, raises yang, lifts prolapse, clears the head. |
| NEEDLING | Transverse insertion 0.5 to 0.8 cun along the scalp. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 3 to 5 cones; mild-warm moxibustion 10 to 20 minutes. |
