| LOCATION | 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the ninth thoracic vertebra. |

| INDICATIONS | Jaundice, pain of the hypochondrium, night blindness, blurred vision, epilepsy, pain of the back. |
| ACTIONS | Spreads liver qi, nourishes liver blood, clears liver heat, brightens the eye. |
| NEEDLING | Oblique or transverse insertion 0.5 to 0.8 cun towards the spine. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 3 to 7 cones; mild-warm moxibustion 15 to 20 minutes. |
