| LOCATION | In the depression between the tip of the lateral malleolus and the Achilles tendon. |

| INDICATIONS | Headache, stiffness of the neck, pain of the heel, pain of the ankle, malaria, difficult labour. |
| ACTIONS | Clears heat, frees the channel, relaxes the sinews, promotes labour. |
| NEEDLING | Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 0.8 cun. Avoid needling during pregnancy. |
| MOXIBUSTION | Moxa cone 3 to 5 cones. |
| CAUTION | Classically contraindicated in pregnancy. |
